We have two very small bathrooms in our home and it’s incredibly hard to find enough room for all our stuff! Items begin cluttering on our vanity sink a few days after a full clean-up, because not everything truly has a place. What do you do if you don’t have enough room in your bathroom to properly store things away? These small bathroom storage ideas have really helped me tackle the bathroom clutter once and for all!
Small Bathroom Storage Ideas
I truly think this is a genius hack! I’m loving the idea of turning a wine rack into a towel rack. First of all, you’re getting great use out of vertical space (which is essential with a small bathroom) and rolling towels rather than folding them helps with space too. You can find this exact rack here.

The space above your toilet can really be a useful storage area. I love the look and idea of floating shelves like in the picture above. You can place decorative baskets on them to conceal items you want to store, like extra shampoo, toilet paper, etc.

When your short on space, every square inch counts. Try dividing cosmetics and other items you keep in a bathroom drawer using baskets or drawer dividers. This keeps everything separated so you can easily find what you need.
I just learned about these sticky pods and I’m slightly obsessed. It’s such a smart way to use unused space for items that would usually take up a fair amount of room in a drawer or on a kitchen vanity.

These are Ikea racks used to store toiletries. I love this idea mainly because it’s using a section of a wall that isn’t typically used. It’s smart because it gives easy access to items you would probably need to use every day while getting ready. Also, smaller bathrooms tend to have small surface space on vanities, so this helps rectify that.
I’m also loving the use of the mason jars to hold makeup items on the bottom shelf.

Using vertical space in small rooms is so essential! I love tall, narrow cabinets like these. They don’t take up a lot of floor space, but you get a ton of storage space out of it. You can find these at Ikea.

There are so many hacks with these type of carts. You can use them in every room to organize things in a small space. These are typically found at Ikea, but if you don’t have an Ikea near you, I love this option here.

If you’re short on space in your bathroom, wall space is most likely pretty limited. You can install towel racks on the back of your bathroom door. I especially love the idea of installing more than one.

These are crown molding shelves! I think this is such a clever hack, and would be so useful to store items when you no longer have room in your vanity drawers.

One huge tip when trying to get the most storage space out of your small bathroom, is to really utilize your vanity. Use sticky command hooks to hang your hair dryer, curling iron, etc. I also love how they are using bins to separate each person’s belongings.

Finally, one last hack is to roll your towels to get optimal use out of storage space. It’s a simple, but effective hack because it saves you precious space.
great ideas…I will incorporate some of them in my bathroom…
