Nursery Ideas for Storing Baby Books
I started growing my kids’ book collection during pregnancy and it has been such a joy to continue.
Book collections tend to grow pretty quickly and they can be tough to organize.
However, I’ve found that using some sort of vertical book storage system works best.

Using photo ledges to store your baby’s books looks great and it’s super practical.
Storing and displaying books with the covers showing allows you to find what you’re looking for easier. I’ve found our books get put away quicker with this system as well.

This bookshelf set is another option I love for storing books with their covers facing outward.
Storing and organizing your baby’s books on a wall is a great use of vertical space, so it’s especially helpful if you’re working with a small space.
Additionally, the book covers morph into wall art in the nursery. It’s such an easy way to add character and color into your baby’s room.

Nursery Ideas for Dresser Organization
I can look at dresser nursery ideas and storage solutions all day. I love how satisfying it is for everything to be in its place and neatly organized.
There are three ways people tend to organize baby clothes in a nursery dresser.
The first method is rolling clothes neatly and storing them like this mom did, shown below.

You can roll any of your baby’s clothes like this – onesies, pants, pajamas, baby blankets. The clothes fit perfectly in a dresser this way and stay organized.
The second way is folding clothes and “filing” them in drawer dividers, like this mom has done below.

This is how I chose to fold and organize my daughter’s clothes, because I found everything stayed neat longer in drawer dividers.
You can read about my folding method (inspired by Marie Kondo) here.
This is one of my favorite nursery idea for organization, because you can store so many other baby stuff beside clothes in a dresser using dividers.
The third option is to fold baby clothes in the traditional manner, which can still be extremely functional if you’re using drawer dividers.
My only qualm with this method is that it’s easier to pick out clothes when you have a bird’s eye view of everything.
Baby Room Organization Using Baskets
Using baskets has become my ultimate way to keeping my home together (for the most part, anyway). This is especially true in a nursery.

You can use large floor baskets to roll and store baby blankets, stuffed animals and even books.

You can choose floor baskets that add to your nursery’s theme and color scheme as well.
Nursery Storage Using Vertical Space
Using vertical space is one of my favorite nursery ideas for storage and organization, because it is so practical.

These door racks are PERFECTION. Using them on the back of the nursery door or baby closet door is such a genius idea.
You can store all. the. things. in these racks.
And they don’t take up any room, because you’re using unused, vertical space. This is especially helpful if you’re working with a small space!
