Summertime is winding down and my mind is already thinking about fall. It’s my favorite season to decorate, so I’ve been browsing the web, looking for fall farmhouse decor ideas to inspire me!

1. Create a Fall Farmhouse Entry Way

Set up a fall farmhouse vignette in your entry way to create a warm, cozy welcome to anyone who enters.
It can be as simple as throwing a cozy throw blanket and fall-themed pillows over a bench. Consider investing in fall pillow covers to easily swap out decorative pillows throughout the year.
2. Add a Fall-Themed Welcome Mat & Layer it Over a Buffalo Plaid Rug

The buffalo plaid rug has been trending lately and I’m loving it!
Find yourself a fall-themed welcome mat and layer them together (like Old Salt Farm did), and you’ve instantly upgraded your fall farmhouse porch decor!
3. Add Simple Touches Throughout Your Home

Adding simple touches in a corner or beside furniture is a great way to incorporate fall farmhouse decor in a classic way.
Rachel from DIY Derivatives, added white pumpkins to a farmhouse wire basket. It’s such a simple touch, but it makes a big impact.
4. Add Mums & Pumpkins to Porch Steps or Beside Your Front Door

I don’t think anyone does fall farmhouse decor like Liz over at Liz Marie Blog. Her porch steps are covered in mums, pumpkins and rustic planters.
5. Decorate a Fall Tiered Tray Display

I love tiered tray decor, especially if you’re a fan of Rae Dunn. Even if you aren’t a Dunn collector, you can still have so much fun with these.
I think they look perfect on a kitchen counter. Add some candy, funny little Halloween signs and just have fun with it!
I own the one above, which you can find here.
6. Create a Fall Inspired Dining Table Centerpiece

Create a fall-inspired centerpiece on your dining table or even your coffee table! I love how she styled her centerpiece with an earthy runner and the neutral pumpkins on top!
